Guardianship and wills (Article 88-98)
extends the period of guardianship and control and gives wider authorization to the Religious Courts to supervise the activities of the guardian. This follows a ruling that says, "one who is not yet 18 years old, whether male or female, is considered to be a minor." According to Anderson, supervision by the Moslem Qadi is vague and only stated in general terms in the "Fiqh" literature, (18)
